my time at Nait
I recently graduated from the Graphic Communications course at NAIT. Below are some of my favorite projects I completed during my enrollment.

The task was to design a novel cover using a preset selection of images provided. I chose to go for a medieval period paranormal horror novel called The Woman in Room 408

The assignment was to create an entertainment poster and disk case. We could do either a movie, or a video game design. I chose to go for a horror movie poster and case. The inspiration was the poster from the movie "The Dark and the Wicked."

This is the Disk case portion of the entertainment assignment. I took inspiration from the DVD Cover of the 2013 remake of The Evil Dead.

This is a typographic poster. This style of design uses typography to create a specific image. In the case of my poster, I used the font Helvetica to create a cartoony style map of the different neighbourhoods in Manhattan. Helvetica is a typeface famous for its use in the New York Subway system.

Our class had a competition to create a poster design for the BTECH Capstone Showcase at NAIT. Best poster got printed and used as the advertising material for the show. The graphic is hand drawn using Procreate, my inspiration fr the artwork was the expression "creativity can come from anywhere." I believe this was captured very well by showing a brain being connected to a corporate grey suit by a spinal cord of blooming flowers
